PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH AND HEALING SERVICES

Hello, I'm Pip Moore, a warm and dedicated clinical psychologist (AHPRA registered) with more than 15 years experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families through some of life’s most difficult challenges.

I have a diverse range of professional experience having worked within hospitals, community mental health teams (e.g. CAMHS), and in private practice spanning locations across Sydney and the Central Coast. I am an empathic clinician who will work with you at your pace to develop a deep understanding of the key factors leading to your suffering.

I am passionate about helping people recover from mental health difficulties and I apply an evidence-based approach to assess and treat conditions including depression, anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, panic attacks, social anxiety), OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, Complex Trauma, and PTSD to name a few. I also provide therapy for adults and teens who may struggle with grief and loss, low self-esteem, challenges associated with neurodiversity (e.g. Autism and ADHD), life transitions and dilemmas, and developing and maintaining healthy relationships. I am also a strong ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), among other modalities. I am registered with the Australian Board of Psychology (AHPRA) with an endorsement of Clinical Psychology. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Psychology at Boston University (USA) and my Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland.

FEES & REBATES

Referrals

A referral is not required to receive psychological services. However, if you wish to claim a rebate through the Medicare Better Access to Health Care Program, a referral from your General Practitioner or Psychiatrist is required. Otherwise, please check with your private health insurer to determine your eligibility to claim psychological services.

Fees

A standard 50-minute session costs $240. Reduced fees are considered for people under certain circumstances, for example those receiving the Disability Support Pension.

Rebates - Medicare

Medicare rebates are available for eligible clients to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.

Medicare rebates for a consultation with Clinical Psychologists are $145.25. Therefore, if you are eligible for this rebate, your gap payment for a standard 50-minute session would be $94.75.

Cancellation fees

Please note that cancellation fees apply for sessions cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment or that are not attended. Please be aware that Medicare will not rebate cancellation fees.

Reports and letters

There is no fee for letters provided to referrers (GP's) during treatment.

Other types of letters and reports requested attract a fee.

I do not conduct medico-legal assessments or provide court reports.

Payment Terms

All payments are due at the time of the session. We accept all major credit cards

and offer contactless payment.

You will be asked to provide credit or debit card details that will be stored
